Veman
Veman is the sparkling blue artery that flows through Vemdalen, to Vemhån and from there on to Svegsjön. It is also a long and wonderful canoeing adventure. Start at Vålkojan just after the entrance to Björnrike paddle all the way down to Håsjön in Vemhån, about 6-7 hours of paddling. For families with children, we recommend paddling in Svårtåstjärn or Klövsjön.
Veman is a completely free and unregulated watercourse, and the trip depends on the season. In early summer, the current can be quite strong. Veman flows downstream, but it is also possible to paddle upstream. You are responsible for ensuring that you can get back to your car and your starting point. For passenger transport, you can book a taxi. The easiest way is to park your car at your final destination in advance and order a taxi back to your starting point before beginning your paddling trip.

Klövsjön
Paddling on Lake Klövsjön is an exciting adventure for the whole family. Here, the water is open and there is no risk of running aground. Great places to visit on the lake are Holmen or Notön, which are perfect for a break with a packed lunch. Or why not look for your own beaches along the way? If you want a longer challenge, about a full day, you can paddle all the way to the strait and the beginning of the next lake, Lännässjön.
Black Star
Right next to Klövsjöfjäll Hotel & Conference and below the ski slopes lies the Svartåstjärn lake. It is an ideal lake for families with children or for those who want to try SUP.

Ljusnan
Paddle gently on Lake Ljusnan, Vågan, outside Sonfjällscampen.
Sonfjällscampen
In Hedeviken, you can rent SUP boards at Sonfjällscampen. It is beautifully located by the lake, Vågansjön in Ljusnan, with a fantastic view of Sonfjället.

Ljungan
In addition to Ljungan, small ponds, and streams, there are two lakes in Åsarna. One of them is located here in the Åsarna accommodation area.
From the reception, it is about 500 m along a small, cozy summer road to walk down to the best place to launch the kayak, which you can rent at Åsarna .
