1. Björnrike Bear Kingdom Cabin
Perfect for the family! This short hike starting from Björnrikespårcentral, leading up to the resting hut goes along a wide path through the beautiful and wind-protected valley between Högfjället and Gråhognafjället.

2. Nature trail around, Vemdalen village
This family adventure starts at the parking lot, 700 meters outside Vemdalen village towards Björnrike. The nature trail is well marked and runs through both forest and meadows. Bring your fishing rod – there are trout in Kvarnbäcken!
The best place to eat is at Kvarntorpet, where there are benches and a barbecue area. Along the trail there are also information boards about the history and forestry of the area.

3. Vemdalsskalet - Varggransstugan
Varggranstugan is easily reached from Vemdalsskalet and is a pleasant afternoon or evening walk. Don't forget your fishing rod - the tarn offers some of the best put-and-take water in the area.
The orange-marked trail runs through holiday home areas, occasionally following the gravel road and crossing Karl XI's road. The last kilometer is quite steep, but never more than medium difficulty. At the top you will find the Varggransstugan restaurant with an à la carte menu. The cottage is open some weeks during the summer, see here. In the tarn you can fish for noble fish, but don't forget to buy a fishing license. Continue the last bit up on Varggranshågna. The views from there are magnificent.

4. Vemdalsskalet - Jaktstugan - Fallmoranfallen
A varied mountain hike through forest and bare rock, with babbling brooks and two roaring waterfalls as a reward. A nicer setting for a family picnic is hard to find! If the weather is right, the lower falls lagoon is a great swimming spot. At the falls there is a barbecue area ready, feel free to make your own coffee over an open fire. Fresh water is taken directly from Röjån.

5. The Adventure Trail in Björnrike
A short and exciting trail that is also suitable for children from the age of 3. The environment is magical and a small stream with several small waterfalls bubbles merrily. You cross the stream and continue down along the transportation route where there is an animal-themed tip walk.
