We have six InfoPoints and a tourist information center in Vemdalen. The staff are skilled tourist hosts who can provide you with quick information, lots of activity and excursion tips, and can answer most questions you may have when visiting us. Our InfoPoints are there for you when you are here with us. They are a simpler type of tourist information center where you can meet the staff in person and get inspiration to discover more of the area.

Tourist Information Vemdalsskalet

You will find us at Skalets torg in Vemdalsskalet. We can answer your questions and provide information about today's adventures in the mountains; we know Vemdalen inside out! We have a wide selection of free magazines and brochures about the region, activities, and restaurants in the area. We also sell a variety of maps for hiking, skiing, and snowmobiling. In the store, you will find locally produced crafts, books, and much more.

You are, of course, welcome to come in and warm your fingers, browse through our magazines, charge your mobile phone, or use the restroom. The tourist information office at Vemdalsskalet is open year-round.

Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

During regular business hours, we are also available via email and phone to assist you.

Special opening hours

Midsummer's Eve, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Conference room

Inside the Tourist Information Center, there is also a conference room that can be booked for anything from one hour to a whole day. If the room is available, drop-in guests are of course welcome! The room can accommodate up to 8 people. Wi-Fi is available, and if you would like refreshments, we will of course arrange that for you.
