Destination Vemdalen AB is the region's joint destination company. We work to make it easy and inspiring to experience, live, and work in Vemdalen all year round.
The company was founded on December 1, 2009, and is owned by the local business community. Today, we have more than 135 partners who work together to promote the development of the destination and strengthen Vemdalen's appeal. Each partner contributes an annual fee that is used for joint initiatives for the benefit of the entire area.
Destination Vemdalen is not profit-driven. Any surplus is reinvested in the business to create the greatest possible benefit for the destination. Today, the company has 4.5 full-time employees and 1.5 seasonal employees.
