Åsarna has been making cross-country skiing history since 1924. The club, which is active in Åsarna, also known as Guldbyn, has nurtured many of Sweden's leading cross-country skiers and offers opportunities for everyone – from ski play for children to elite level.
Over the years, Åsarna has collected 59 Olympic and World Championship medals, 120 podium places in the World Cup, and nine victories in the Vasaloppet race. Today, the club continues to develop young people, recreational skiers, and elite athletes, while cherishing traditions in the heart of Jämtland.
