Klövsjö Hembygdsgård

Klövsjö Local History Association works to preserve and spread knowledge about the history and cultural heritage of the area. Its activities include events, exhibitions, and activities that highlight traditions and local stories. The association also manages historical buildings, crafts, and objects that reflect the development of the region.

A central part of the work revolves around the Tomtan heritage farm. The farm, which dates back to the 18th century, consists of 15 buildings, several of which were built in the 19th century. Here you can see the original environments where generations have lived and worked. Tomtan was inaugurated as a heritage farm in 1963 and is unique as the only four-building heritage farm in its original form in Jämtland.

The association also runs a parking area at Klövsjön's boat harbor and bathing area. The site is open during the summer and offers services such as showers, toilets, and latrine emptying. With its combination of cultural heritage and practical services, Klövsjö Hembygdsförening is an important part of both the local identity and the tourism industry.

As a partner in the destination company, Klövsjö Hembygdsförening contributes to both the development of the destination and the attractiveness of the local area. Find out more and see all the activities offered by the local heritage association here.
