Samevistet is a historic log cabin on the bare mountain, a place where you can come for warmth, rest, and something tasty to eat. For many years, the cabin has been a popular meeting place for skiers and mountain visitors who want to take a break in the mountain environment.
Here, waffles and soups are served with homemade bread and pastries, perfect for replenishing your energy during the day. Sit down indoors in front of the fireplace or outside in the sun when the weather permits and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains.
Samevistet is mainly accessible on skis via trails from Storhogna, Vemdalsskalet, and Ripfjället, among other places. It is also possible to get here on foot from Storhogna. For those who do not ski, it is possible to take a snowmobile round trip from Storhogna Högfjällshotell, an experience in itself that takes you all the way to the cabin door.
Samevistet is run by Anna-Karin André and Marita Nilsson, who continue to uphold the cottage's long tradition as a welcoming place in the mountains with warmth and dedication.
As a partner in the destination company, Samevistet helps to preserve the mountain atmosphere and create authentic experiences in the Vemdalen destination.
