The Vemdalsfjällens Business Association was formed in the mid-1980s and has since worked to strengthen entrepreneurship in the parish of Vemdalen. The association serves as a platform where entrepreneurs and committed residents can meet, exchange ideas, and jointly pursue issues that are important for the development of the region.
Members of the association can be both companies operating in the parish of Vemdalen and private individuals who live in the area and have a keen interest in business issues. Applications for membership are sent to the board, which decides on admission.
Today, the association is involved in several current issues concerning the future of the region, such as detailed plans, establishments, sidewalks, and sports halls. By bringing together companies and individuals with common interests, the association creates a strong voice for the development of the entire parish.
The Vemdalsfjällens Business Association is also a member of the Härjedalen Business Council, which gives the association the opportunity to exert influence on a broader level.
