Welcome to Vemdalen Winter Classic – an easy and enjoyable cross-country skiing race. Here, it's all about the experience: sharing a winter's day in the mountains, feeling the glide of the tracks and enjoying nature together.
The trail winds through the white landscape of Vemdalsskalet on Vargenmyren and is suitable for beginners, children, and recreational skiers. For those who just want a day of skiing without pressure or competition. In Vemdalen Winter Classic, you set the pace—leisurely, playful, or a little faster if you want.
After crossing the finish line, you can look forward to a warm atmosphere, cheers, and wonderful experiences to take home with you. If you participate in and complete the race, you will be entered into a raffle for a $3,000 gift card that can be used to book accommodation at Vemdalsskalet!
Distances:
10 km – Start on green transit track + 1 lap on red loop + green transit track to finish.
20 km– Start on green transit track + 2 laps on red loop + green transit track to finish.
40 km– Start green transit track + 4 laps red loop + green transit track to finish.
