For Erika Dillner, the passionate owner of Klövsjö Stenugnsbageri, local food craftsmanship has always been the driving force behind her business. With a history spanning more than 15 years, she continues to run her business with the same enthusiasm and dedication as on day one.
Using local ingredients has always been a matter close to Erika's heart.
"Today, we buy milk from Kossan in Berg, eggs from Tullus Lantliv, charcuterie from Hedmans and Hede Kött & Chark, among other things. We get fresh berries and other delicacies from our local Reko rings in Berg and Härjedalen," says Erika.
She believes that today's guests are increasingly conscious of the quality and origin of their food.
There is growing interest in pure ingredients and enjoying delicious, locally sourced food as an important part of the experience.
It's no secret that Klövsjö has deep roots in artisanal food production. And if Erika could dream freely, she would wish for even more locally produced food in the village. Being able to walk past the farm to buy a package of meat, stop by the farm brewery to pick up a few bottles of beer, and visit the bakery to buy some fresh bread or delicious pastries is an appealing thought.
