Support for transition to address the effects of the coronavirus crisis

Destination Vemdalen was granted support from Region Jämtland Härjedalen via the European Regional Development Fund.

The support consisted of two parts. One part was pure investment to ensure that we could receive guests and staff safely. This involved joint information material that our partners and associates could use to keep guests, business owners, and locals well informed on an ongoing basis. It also involved purchasing floor stands for hand sanitizer and equipment for holding digital meetings and training sessions.

The second part consisted of costs for training for both shareholders and partners, but also internally within the company. These were costs for communicating with guests, local residents, shareholders, and partners about the coronavirus situation, as well as rent for training courses and meetings.

The project period was from November 20, 2020, to January 31, 2022. The total budget for the project was SEK 419,935, and the maximum amount of support was SEK 294,778. The Destination Company covered the difference.
