At Skalet Express near the connection from Skalets torg you will find two trails that you can easily reach with the Skalet Express lift. The trails consist mainly of paths that have been dug out and run through beautiful nature.
The trails are of two different difficulty levels (green/blue) offering elements of jumps, drops and well-balanced curves. To ride here you need a BikePass or TrailPass. Both the green and blue trails are suitable for the whole family, and no previous experience or special equipment is required. Take your mountain bike up the lift and enjoy the scenery while learning to handle your bike in an exciting terrain in a safe and fun way.
A silenced bike is recommended, but a regular mountain bike also works well off-road. By buying your Bike or TrailPass online, you always get the best price, and you can quickly and easily collect your pre-booked BikePass from the nearest SkiPass pick-up machine. The passes enable the continued development and maintenance of the trails, with a focus on sustainability for nature, landowners and guests.

Pumptrack and Skills area
Vemdalsskalet also has a pump track and a training area, so-called. Skills area. To be able to cycle here, you need at least one TrailPass, which you can buy online from SkiStar.
Pumptrack
A pumptrack is a type of track where you use your own kinetic energy to "pump" forward instead of pedaling. On Vemdalsskalet there is an easily accessible pumptrack that even the younger cyclists can handle.
Skills area
The training area is located on the slope next to the Skalet Express lift. The Skills area is a training ground where you can practice jumps, curves, balance or simply cycling for fun. The courses offer fun and technical challenges for both big and small cyclists.
