A virtual trail cross is an easy way to support the development of mountain trails, rest huts, and places that are dear to many people's hearts. By purchasing a trail cross, you are helping to preserve nature and enabling the area to continue to be developed in a sustainable way.
The mountain area around Vemdalen, Klövsjö, Storhogna, and Björnrike mainly of private land where landowners generously welcome both hikers and skiers. At the same time, the trails are worn down by weather and visitor pressure, which means that resources are needed to keep them open and safe.
Much of what we take for granted in the mountains lacks secure funding, such as rest huts, bridges, signage, barbecue areas, and ongoing maintenance. To continue improving the trails, we need more people who want to get involved and contribute.
How a virtual junction works
When you purchase a virtual trail pass, your support goes directly to the development and maintenance of trails and paths. You can easily pay by transferring your contribution to 123 064 35 77 or by scanning the QR code below. By showing your payment at the tourist information office at Skalets torg, you can pick up a sticker at the tourist information office showing that you support the development.
Where does the money go?
Destination Vemdalen AB consists of local companies and associations. We do not distribute any profits, but use all funds to develop and improve the destination. We prioritize initiatives based on need and long-term sustainability, and you are always welcome to send suggestions to info@vemdalen.se.
