Description of the project
Fredrik started the engine. He let it idle and looked at the clock. Two minutes left. He put the car in drive and kept his foot on the brake. He glanced at the clock again, moved his foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal, and let the car slowly roll toward the road. Okay. Now it's time to get serious.
When Robert is released after serving his first prison sentence, he is determined to get his life back on track. His best friend Leif seems to have it all: a job, a wife, and stylish designer clothes. This is despite the fact that, like Robert, he has committed numerous burglaries in his life. Robert has made up his mind: everything will be fine now.
The first weeks of freedom fly by. Robert meets Åsa and falls head over heels in love, he gets to return to his old job, and his friends celebrate his release every night.
But nothing comes for free. It's hard to live with guilt—and with debt. So when Robert hears about a coup planned by the notorious Fredrik during a New Year's celebration in Vemdalen, he can't resist saying yes. After all, the plan is foolproof.
But it turns out that it's not always the procedure that's dangerous; it's life afterwards that's the real shock. How can you learn to lie to those you love? When do your actions actually hurt another person? How do you know what you really want?
