Trumvallens Jakt offers you the opportunity to experience hunting in the mountainous nature of Vemdalen. Here you can hunt ptarmigan, capercaillie, and black grouse in areas featuring old-growth forest, open marshes, and magnificent mountains. During the day, you can take a break by a crackling fire with a warming cup of coffee – part of the hunting experience that many appreciate as much as the hunt itself.
In winter, Trumvallens Jakt offers guided bird hunting. Slowly skiing along and searching for capercaillie and black grouse in the snow-laden trees is an extraordinary experience. When available, the owners also sell game such as ptarmigan, capercaillie, and black grouse.
In addition to hunting, there are opportunities for dog training. You can participate in courses or receive individual coaching for you and your dog. Here, you can train your dog in steadiness, stopping, or hunting techniques using pigeons and flight cages. The basic idea is simple: hunting and training together should be fun.
