Easter means a long holiday, and many people take the opportunity to travel to the mountains. Vemdalen often has excellent spring conditions with soft snow and sunny days on the slopes. But the mountains aren't just about skiing. During Easter week, there are activities for both young and old throughout the area.

Win a car during the traditional race

During the Easter weekend, the popular ski competition "Ski a mile – win a car" will be held. The race takes place on Good Friday and gives participants the chance to win a brand new Volkswagen. You can find more activities and events during the Easter weekend in the event calendar.

Goggle tan lines and sun pits

Easter falls in the middle of spring, a period that many consider to be the best time in the mountains. The days are getting longer, the temperature is rising, and it's perfect to take a break in a sun-kissed spot in the snow between runs. Friends and families gather here to enjoy the mountain sun. Just don't forget your sunscreen, or you might end up with the classic goggle tan.
