Hiking trailBjörnrike

START: Björnvallen in Björnrike.

A strenuous but enjoyable hike for the whole family. The trail goes up the ski slope to the Bräjks Matbar restaurant and the Villa Björnrike café, Björnrike is open for a few weeks during the summer.

Park at Björnvallen. The trail goes up the Nallesvängen slope before you turn right into the forest and follow the Valles forest trail zigzagging up to the top of the hill. From there, you can see the Bräjks Matbar restaurant and the Villa Björnrike waffle shop, Björnrike is open on certain days and weeks during the summer. See opening hours at vemdalen.se. Continue a little way up Björnstigen and turn left down the Långsvängen slope to the pond at Björnidet. Once there, turn left under the bridge and take the transport route back to Björnvallen. A trip with 150 delightful meters of elevation.
