Hiking trail Fettjeåfallet

START: Parking lot 5 km from Klövsjö ski area.

With its 60-meter drop, the Fettjeå Falls is one of our country's highest waterfalls and the area's most beautiful natural scenery. The hike there along the Fettje River is a great family experience.

The tour starts from the parking lot located 5 km north of Klövsjö ski area (signposted from the ski area). From the parking lot, walk towards the windbreak and follow the path upstream Fettjeån. (You do not see the river from the beginning) After about 500 m you have a bench by the river. The trail has been rehabilitated and paved by Nepalese Sherpas in recent years. You cross the river twice. After 2 km you reach the mighty waterfall and a rest area with barbecue. It is possible to continue past the rest area to the foot of the falls and take the same route back. This is a popular and well-visited excursion destination.
