Gradins väg-Gammelvallen hiking trail

START: Parking at the end of Gradins väg.

A beautifully situated large mountain lake 790 m above sea level with hiking trails from several directions. Here you can fish for trout, char, whitefish and perch (fishing license).

Take the car along road 315 from Vemdalsskalet towards Vemdalen village, after 3.5 km from Vemdalsskalet there are signs to Trumvallen and Oxsjön. Follow the road, after 6.2 km it splits and you turn right towards Trumvallen. After another 50 m there are signs to Oxsjön and Gammelvallen. From the sign you have about 3.5 km forest road with toll up to the parking lot. Follow the marked trail from the parking lot to Oxsjön. You have 500 m out to the headland where there is a shelter at the fishing camp. Take the same way back or hike south towards Vemdalsskalet, see tour 10.
