Mittåfallet hiking trail

START: Parking at the parking pocket on the road next to the falls.

Mittåfallet is one of the beautiful falls in the area. Make sure you bring swimwear, fishing rod and fishing license because at the foot of the falls there is also a large lagoon where you can both swim and fish.

From Vemdalen, take road 315 to Hede. From Hede, continue towards Funäsdalen and after about 13 km take the turnoff to the right towards Långå and pass through the village. After just over 4 km there is a sign "Here ends public road". Continue straight ahead and after another 150 meters turn right towards Grundsjön. Follow the road for 7.7 km until you reach a sign with Mittåfallet on the left. You can park there and take the path to the waterfall. It is a short walk of about 80 meters.
