Turled Vemdalsskalet - Jaktstugan

START: Spårcentralen or Pass Express on Vemdalsskalet

Many roads lead to Jaktstugan, the restaurant with a sun porch and the crispiest waffles in the mountains. You can choose between walking the trail up, riding a weasel or the fast route with the Pass Express lift.

Start at the track center and take the trail/water trail towards Jaktstugan. You have about 3 km uphill. If you have small children, it is easiest to take the weasel up. Back you take the water trail that mostly goes downhill and is easy even for children. The fastest way up is with the Pass Express lift. There the trail starts at Toppstugan and from there it is only an easy 1.5 km to Jaktstugan. Back home you take the same way and the lift down. If you want to make a more challenging trip, you can take the boat trail down to the track center. Then cross the road and go behind the hotel. There is a transportation route to Hovdebacken. The transport route then continues under the Hovdebanan (chairlift) and it then takes you back down to the parking lot at Pass Express.
