Turled Vemdalsskalet/Vargen - Timmerkojan

START: Parking lot on the right side 600m past Vargens Värdshus or the parking lot at Vargens Värdshus.

A beautiful tour that is easy to ski even though it is slightly uphill all the way to Timmerkojan's rest cabin. The way home is a long lovely downhill run.

Park your car at the parking lot, which is about 600 m past Vargens Värdshus. You can also park at Vargens Värdshus where there is a restaurant and shower facilities. From each parking lot, follow the trail and signs towards Timmerkojan (from Vargens Värdshus the trail crosses a smaller road). It goes slightly uphill all the way to Timmerkojan's rest cabin. You take the same trail home and then it goes downhill. If you have small children and want to make a shorter trip, you can stop at Stockåstugan halfway (about 6 km round trip). From there you can also walk up to Varggransstugan.
