Mountain hikes on groomed trails
Vemdalen has a total of 180 kilometers of marked trails – marked with signposts and crosses showing the way across the mountains. The trails are not groomed daily, but are tracked when necessary, especially after heavy snowfall. This means that you can enjoy well-groomed ski trails even up in the mountains.
Destination Vemdalen has a trail employee who ensures that signs, rest huts and trail markings are kept in good condition. But remember - in the mountains, snow and wind can quickly change conditions. A trail that is clear in the morning may have blown away by the afternoon.
The trails have finished being groomed for the 2025–2026 winter season.
